You will need:

  • 1 lb protein (steak, chicken, shrimp)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 bell peppers
  • Any other veggies, such as mushrooms, zucchini...get crazy!
  • Juice of one lime (approx. 1/3 cup)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup Crucible Fuego Tex-Mex Seasoning

1. Slice steak or chicken into strips. Peel and devein raw shrimp, if using. Place into a bowl.

2. Slice veggies into strips and place into a bowl.

3. Combine lime juice, olive oil, and Fuego. Divide between protein and veggies. Toss to coat. Cover and marinade in a refrigerator for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.

4. Heat a large skillet to medium-high. Add marinated protein and cook 3-4 minutes until cooked thoroughly. Transfer the cooked meat to a plate.

5. Add marinated veggies to hot skillet and cook until slightly tender but still crisp.

6. Return cooked protein to skillet and stir with veggies to combine.

7. Serve with tortillas and your favorite fajita fixings!
